Isla del Sol

UN DIA QUE PASSARÀ A LA HISTÒRIA de les nostres vides: VISCA L'ILLA DEL SOL! HIP HIP URRA!!

Els inques ja sabien on es posaven... Des de Copacabana anem on Viracocha va crear el Sol i la Lluna, i a partir d'aquí va aparèixer el primer Inca: Manco Capac. Després de visitar la Roca Sagrada hem entrat al Palacio del Inca, també conegut com a Laberinto, on a part de les runes hem disfrutat d'un paisatge meravellós. Totes aquestes runes formen part de Chinkana, complex arqueològic del Nord de l'illa.

Després comencem el camí que ens porta al Sud de l'Illa, i ens agrada tant que ens aturem cada dos per tres per asseborir-l'ho... Fins i tot ens remullem els peus a un riuet... l'aigua és freda però ens deixa com a noves... I avui fa sol! ;-)

No arribem a Yumani (sud) però fem nit a Cha'lla, un poblet amb platja on les úniques guiris som nosaltres... YEHA! Per un eurito disfrutem d'un hotel amb vistes al llac Titicaca i fem la millor birra de l'any!

L'endemà arribem a l'extrem sud i allà visitem El Templo del Inca (súper ben conservat i amb vistes a La Isla de la Luna), la Escalera del Inca i La Fuente del Inca. Moooolt bé!
A quarts de quatre agafem el "bote" de tornada a Copacabana.

ISLA DEL SOL: OH MY GOD!

From Copacabana (Bolívia) we go to "La Isla del Sol - the Sun Island". We start visiting Chinkana (a great architectonic complex on the north of the island) with its Sacre Rock and The Inca Palace.

The walk from the North to Yumani takes 3 hours aprox... but we stopped every 5 min to enjoy the views, take some pictures and put our feet in a river... so we couldn't arrive to the south part and we slept in Cha'lla, a beautiful town on the beach, in a little but cute hotel... For only 10 bolivianos (1 euro) we had a nice bedroom with views over the lake! And up there we had the best beer of the year!

The day after we finished the route to the south part... and there we enjoyed the Inca Temple (super well preserved!), the Inca steps or stairs (bad translation ;-)) and the Inca Fountain. After 3pm we took a boat to go back to Copacabana.
