Baixem cap al Sud...primera parada: PISCO-PARACAS!

3 DE GENER DE 2007 - PISCO - PARACAS - ILLES BALLESTAS

Avui ha estat un gran dia! Sabeu d'aquells dies de bon rotllo? Doncs un d'aquests... De bon matí hem anat a les Illes Ballestas on hem vist pingüins, lleons marins i un munt d'aus (més de 200 espècies!). Semblava mentida, estiraves el braç i els podies tocar mentre ells descansaven i prenien el sol tranquil.lament damunt de les roques. Les roques d'aquestes illes (anomenades Galàpagos dels pobres) són espectaculars, petites coves, arcades i formes punxegudes... I tot està impregnat de Guano, exprement de les aus que tradicionalment ha estat pagat a preu d'or com a adob.

Després d'aquesta flipada hem anat a la Reserva Nacional de Paracas (flipada al quadrat). Qui ens havia de dir que ens esperava el mar de sorra més gran que mai haguessim pogut imaginar! Km i km de desert amb totes les tonalitats de groc combinades amb els diferents blaus del mar. Ens haguéssim pogut passar hores contemplant el joc de colors i la immensitat que la naturalesa ens oferia. De tant en tant la sorra ensenyava la seva vessant més compacta formant grans penyasegats al costat de l'aigua. Bé... tot plegat, un espectacle que costa de descriure.

Després d'un arros amb marisc a Langunillas (poblet de pescadors) hem tornat a Paracas per prendre un Pisco Sour davant del mar... per digerir i asseborir aquest gran dia! ;-) Yehhaaaaaaa!

3rd of January 2007 PISCO - PARACAS - BALLESTAS ISLANDS

Today has been an awesome day! Early in the morning we took a boat to head the Ballestas Islands... wow, it was a great surprise: pinguins, sea lions and thousands of birds (more than 200 species). We almost could touch them while they were resting on the rocks ;-)

Those rocks have amazing shapes: caves, archs and sharp figures... After that we went to Paracas National Reserve and... It was the biggest desert we could ever imagine! Full of different yellow tonalities "superwell" combined with the different sea blue.

We could be there for ages just looking this nature spectacle. We enjoyed also the highlands in front of the sea. Well, it's difficult to describe.

Well, to finish the day we sat in front of the sea in Paracas again, and we drunk a Pisco Sour... oh, this is life! ;-)
